Pastry Cream

We make our pastry cream in-house using traditional methods and simple, whole ingredients. The little dark specks are bits from real vanilla bean that has been carefully scraped from the vanilla pod husk. Right now we use commercially-produced cornstarch, but hope to produce our own in-house in the future.

Ingredients: whole milk, eggs, sugar, sweet cream butter, cornstarch (thickener), vanilla bean
